Our Team
Lysa N. Darden
Ms. Darden has a Bachelor's of Art from California State University Northridge and became the print producer for Paramount Digital Design (PD2) at Paramount Pictures Movie Studio. Ms. Darden then became a Teamster for the movie studios with Local 399. During that time, she gained a Bachelors of Science and a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern California University School of Law.
Ms. Darden began her legal career at the Pasadena Courthouse Legal Aid Dept., aka Office of the Family Law Facilitator. The Pasadena's Legal Aid Dept. helped file dissolution of marriage documents, Domestic Violence, Civil Harassment, Elder Abuse and Landlord Tenant documents (Unlawful Detainers). Both the petitioner/plaintiff and respondent/defendant sides.
Ms. Darden volunteered her time at the Los Angeles County Bar Associations Veterans Legal Services Project helping the veterans in filing papers to release them from FTA's (failure to appear), FTP's (failure to pay), filing 1385 motions for misdemeanor and felony expungements under Penal Code 1203.4 and 17(b).
Ms. Darden is a state board attorney working for The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) as a parole board attorney, in Southern California. Mrs. Darden is a member of Parole Justice Works, a non-profit organization educating lawyers on the best way to advocate for Lifers in the parole hearing process. She represents Lifer's in Parole Board Hearings from prepping them to representation at the board of parole hearings.
Ms. Darden is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and California Lawyer's Association.
